PURPOSES OF PROCESSING AND LEGAL BASIS

Your data will be processed to:

·       deliver a translation order

·       communicate with you via electronic mail in connection with the delivery of the translation order or in other matters related to my business

·       enter data to the register of translations made by a sworn translator. Providing these data is obligatory and results from the requirement to indicate the ordering party as defined in art. 17.2 of the Act on the Profession of a Sworn Translator (of 25.10.2014 as amended). These data will be stored for 5 years.

·       issue an invoice for the order

·       indicate  the scope of information indicated in Article 6 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

SCOPE OF PERSONAL DATA, RECIPIENTS OR CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS OF THE PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data will be processed only in the scope necessary for the proper completion of order or communication with you.

Your personal data will not be provided to third parties, except for the cases where it is required for the order delivery or the manner of operation of a given communication means assumes providing such data. In such cases, data will be provided only to the extent required. The authorisation to provide personal data may also result directly from the order or your separate authorisation.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Your personal data will be stored for 5 years. 

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

You have the right to demand from the controller:

• access to your data,

• providing copies of data subject to processing,

• rectifying these data,

• removal of the data or limitation of their processing to storage, which the controller is obliged to perform only when certain circumstances described in the regulations on personal data protection occur.

RIGHT TO LODGE A COMPLAINT WITH A SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection dealing with the protection of personal data in your Member State of habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement. INFORMATION ON WHETHER PROVIDING DATA IS VOLUNTARY OR OBLIGATORY

Processing of personal data, both yours and of third persons included in the translated documents, e-mail correspondence is necessary to perform a contract, although providing data is voluntary. They will be (in the form of copies of documents and their translations) stored for 5 years from the date of collection of the translation.

If you wish to receive an invoice, it will be required to provide additional data necessary for its issuing and resulting from tax provisions imposing such an obligation. These data will be stored for the period in accordance with the above provisions (currently it is 5 years).
