English Medical Translations
As a sworn and specialized translator, I also perform medical translations, which may be necessary in cases of continuing medical treatment abroad, the need to provide test results or medical certificates, gaining access to innovative therapies and clinical trials conducted in different countries, or ensuring that medical and pharmaceutical documentation complies with legal regulations.
I completed post-graduate studies in Medical Translation at the University of Gdańsk, a 6-month training at Textem School for Translators – Medical Translation: from basics to proficiency, and many other courses in specialized medical language.
Medical translations are of great importance due to their direct impact on people’s health and lives. I offer the following types of medical translations:
Translation of patient records – including medical histories, lab results, imaging descriptions and hospital discharges.
Pharmaceutical translation – refers to documentation related to the production and distribution of medicines, such as information leaflets, summary of product characteristics, press releases on new medicines.
Clinical trial translation – including clinical trial documentation, study protocols, informed consent forms, clinical study reports, case report forms, dossiers.
Translations of legal and medical documentation – refers to documents that have legal validity, such as insurance documentation, medical consent forms, documents related to the professional liability of doctors, court opinions.
Training translation – including educational materials, presentations, instructions on medical procedures used in training for healthcare professionals.
Marketing translations in the medical sector – related to the promotion of medical products, health campaigns, information brochures and advertising materials for the healthcare sector.
