The price of translation depends on its type, number of pages and deadline, so I always prepare an individual quote. Depending on the type of translation, this is how they are billed:

1. Certified (Sworn) Translation

– one billing page has 1125 characters with spaces, each started page is billed, 1 physical page of the document can be as many as 5 billing pages or more than 5600 characters

– the translator must comply with the requirements imposed by the law, describe the seals and security features and add an attestation, all of which count towards the number of characters and affect the price

2. Non-certified Translation
– one billing page has 1500 characters with spaces, normally in one working day the translator is able to translate about 8-10 pages
– in the case of specialised translation, such as medical or containing handwriting, the price is higher

3. Interpreting

– billed as 4-hour blocks, the price of translation includes time to prepare for the meeting, travel and interpreter availability

– in exceptional situations, for very short activities, the interpreter may apply billing per hour

4. Express translations

– for translations with same-day deadlines or requiring translation of more than 10 pages per day, the basic rate is increased by 50%

If you wish to order a certified (“sworn”) translation, the original document can be brought in person to the office at ul. 1 Maja 39, Strumień by prior appointment. You can also send the original documents by mail or courier.

You can pick up the translation:

– in person at the office, delivery by courier, by mail;

– via email for non-certified translations or certified translation with an electronic signature.

If you need to register birth, marriage, car, obtain identity documents, driving license, visa or other official documents, the translation should be made from the original and not from a copy or scan of the document. That’s why it is so important to produce an original document to a sworn translator who can then describe all elements of the document such as seals, water marks and other securities. Otherwise, the translations can be rejected by the authorities.

If you order a non-certified translation, without the translator’s seal, you can receive it at your email address. A certified translation with the electronic signature of a sworn translator can also be received by e-mail.
